Zoom H5 Studio Handy Recorder

The Zoom H5 Studio is an innovative handheld recorder engineered for creators seeking high-quality audio recordings. It features a 32-bit float recording capability, ensuring seamless captures with no worry about clipping, even in variable sound environments.

Equipped with F-series preamps, the H5 delivers exceptional clarity and a dynamic range of 132 dB, resulting in clean, distortion-free audio. Its advanced radio frequency shielding guarantees that recordings remain pristine, even in settings with potential interference from devices such as smartphones and Wi-Fi routers.

This versatile recorder allows you to record up to six tracks simultaneously, comprising four isolated tracks and a stereo mix, with an impressive maximum sample rate of 192 kHz. You can benefit from a variety of connections, including locking XLR/TRS inputs featuring +48V phantom power and a 3.5mm stereo input with plug-in power. The high-performance 32-bit float microphone capsules deliver outstanding frequency response and can handle sound pressure levels up to 140 dB, perfect for capturing deep and intricate audio details.

The built-in LCD color screen provides real-time visual feedback of your recordings, while look-ahead limiters ensure that clipping is avoided before reaching the recording threshold. The H5 Studio is not only perfect for field recording but also functions as a USB audio interface, offering four inputs and two outputs for seamless connectivity with computers.

With the ZOOM Handy Control & Sync app, multiple recorders can be managed and synchronized remotely, simplifying the recording process for creators. Exporting recordings in WAV format is straightforward, and users can synchronize audio with video using the recording start tone feature. The device boasts a remarkable recording time of 15 hours powered by four AA batteries, and it can also be charged via USB power.
