Silicon Power PC60 Ext SSD 256GB USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C (Black) | External storage with a clear capacity

What sets the PC60 apart is its straightforward combination: an external SSD with 256GB capacity, a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C connection and a black finish. It suits someone who wants a defined amount of extra storage for a selected set of files, rather than a product page full of performance claims. The capacity gives you a practical starting point: compare it with the files you expect to keep on the drive. Its USB and Type-C labels also give you details to match against the connection you plan to use. Thats the honest summary: the title tells you the storage size and connection standard, but not a transfer rate or what comes in the box. If those details matter to your decision, dont assume them from the product name.

Choosing a place for it in your workflow

Before choosing an external drive, think about the job you want it to do. A drive for a working set of documents or a particular batch of images has a different role from one intended to hold a growing archive. Decide which files belong on it, and how much room that collection currently takes up. Then allow for the fact that your collection may grow; a little planning can help avoid moving files around sooner than youd like. The PC60s stated 256GB capacity makes that comparison concrete, but whether its enough depends on your own files and habits. It can be a sensible way to keep a chosen group of data separate from your computers internal storage, provided the connection suits your setup. For a camera workflow, that may mean considering the drive as one part of your storage routine, not as a substitute for deciding how youll keep important files safe.
